Pathfinder

Man has reached moon and is on the way to mars. Robots are the inexplicable and inevitable part of our future. They have made the complex and seemingly impossible task unimaginably easy yet the very concept of robotics remains the same. This is an event to test the ability of autonomous machines to change their path with respect to obstacle and reach the end point. The one who makes it fast wins.


Ring Specification / Robot Specification:


1. The track shall be 3 cm. thick with 10 % tolerance.


2. The tracks are painted white or any bright color and the background will be black or any dark color.


Rules:


1. The robot can have self-contained batteries to provide power or DC 12V can be supplied from outside.


2. It shall not use an energy source employing a combustion process.


3. Dimension must not exceed 30 x 30 x 30 cm3.


4. If judges or event coordinator consider that robot has high risk of damaging the walls or tracks, they will not permit it to run.


5. The Lego kits or any other readymade kits in making the robot are not allowed.


6. Participants have to submit their machines to organizers at the time of competition for checking out general specification of path finder.


7. The participants will be given 2 hours before the game starts to practice and adjust their sensors.


8. The arena will be placed in closed room and participants must adjust their sensors according to the given ambient light conditions.
