JIGYASA ‘09 brings to you "JUNKYARD ", your chance to prove your mettle at our very own version of the all time popular TV reality show. If you think that you are smart and creative enough to make a model out of your backyard junk, then join us as we take you for a bumpy ride around our own homegrown junkyard inside the GIT Campus.
General Rules:
- Each team can consist of a maximum of 2 members. Teams may have students from more than one educational institution.
- The tasks and other details regarding the first and second round will be provided at the time of the event.
- The organizers reserve all rights to disqualify any team for usage of unfair means.
- In case of any discrepancies, decision of the organizers shall be final and binding for all.
Elimination Round:
In this round, participants will have to complete a given task for which they will be provided with some Junk. This will be the same for all teams. More specific details about this stage will be provided at the time of the competition. A specific number of teams will be eliminated and the remaining teams will move on to the next stage.
Final Round:
For this round, teams will be required to make a model, out of the provided junk, which satisfies the given problem statement, which will be announced at the time of the event.
